This weekend, we hear Jesus tell his disciples the story of the Prodigal Son. He uses an important phrase in this story: “(F)or this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’” It is a powerful understanding of what happens when people who do not have the Gospel in their hearts and lives are witnessed to it. The Gospel changes everything!
